What Types of Permits are Available?
Student Vehicle Registration
Students are required to register their vehicle in the Georgia State parking system in order to park on any campus. An annual hang tag permit is no longer required for students parking on any campus. The vehicle license plate helps identify owners of vehicles in the event of an emergency and serves as a parking decal at Center Parc Stadium and Perimeter College campuses for enforcement.

Students living in a university residence hall should register their vehicle through University Housing. Parking is available at your respective residence hall.
Semester Parking Permits
Students who commute to campus multiple times per week may purchase a semester parking permit forM Deck while supplies last. Fall or spring semester permits are priced at $215, and summer semester permits are $110. These permits allow the student to come and go with an unlimited number of parks. Overnight parking is NOT allowed in the deck and is enforced 24/7.
Instructions to Make a PERCS Purchase
- Click on the Parking Portal button in the top right corner.
- Log in with your CampusID and password.
- Click + New Permit (above) and see all permits currently available for purchase (below).
- Select the permit you wish to purchase. Then click Create at the bottom right.
- The screen will display your recent purchase as Unpaid. Click on Unpaid to purchase the permit.
- In the green Success box, click Yes to complete your purchase.
- You will proceed to your Cart Invoice List. Click Pay at the bottom right.
- Proceed to the payment gateway to complete your purchase.
- If you exit without payment, the permit request will be cancelled and deleted from your permit listing.
- When paid, the permit will be shown in your PERCS parking account.

Motorcycle Permits
With this permit, motorcycles are allowed to park at the bottom level of G Deck accessed only from Collins Street. It costs $18 per semester to obtain a motorcycle permit from the Parking Portal.
