Faculty and staff can obtain a payroll deduction permit, a monthly parking permit that allows for unlimited entries.

Faculty/staff who have registered their vehicle in the Georgia State University parking system may park in campus decks and lots at the discounted parking rate of $4 per entry using PantherCash on their PantherCard.
Part-time instructors, temporary employees, and contractors and affiliates may obtain a budget card while they are employed by Georgia State University. For inquiries, please email parking@gsu.edu or call 404-413-9500. Since the budget card is a prepaid, return the card at the end of employment for a refund of any remaining balance on the card. Employees requesting refunds above $25 must come to the customer service counter to complete the Refund Request Form to have a check mailed to you within 30 days.
Part-time instructors and temporary employees can also get a monthly parking pass at the same rate of $65/month. It must be prepaid in advance.
Regular parking fees apply for part-time instructors, temporary employees and visiting scholars, contractors and affiliates.

- Employees must be eligible for benefits in order to register for payroll deduction parking.
- Parking is $65 per month for all faculty/staff parking decks and lots with payroll deduction.
- If you are bi-weekly, the deduction is $32.50 each pay period.
- A pro-rated payment may be required for the current month with the pre-taxed payroll deduction starting the following month, depending on your pay schedule.

To Begin Payroll Deduction
Employees will be charged an initial out-of-pocket fee of $65 when beginning payroll deduction between the 1st and the 15th of the month. Employees will be charged $32.50 when beginning payroll from the 16th to the end of the month. Payroll deduction will start the following month of sign up.
